Marathon Finish

Running Accomplishments:

Completed California International Marathon in 2008 and 2009.  I have finished several olympic distance triathlons.  I was a pretty good swimmer in college.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I hope to take my fitness to a more serious level by dropping some weight ,running every day, and increasing mileage.

Long-Term Running Goals:

In five years (when I'm sixty years old) I might be able to qualify for the Boston Marathon and complete an Iron-distance triathlon.

Personal:

I am a photographer, married, and my best friend is my fox red lab, "Sutter".  

I live in Nevada City, California and teach high school English.

Still recovering from Sunday.  Not going to worry about the weight gain.  Always happens after a big workout.  Body is doing some kind of compensation.

What a great day and beautiful run.  I ran from Packer Lake, back down to Sardine Lake with Sutter.  The weather was turning nasty, but still nice.

 I was able to combine two things that I love doing - photography and running.

 I will do more of this next year.

Pouring rain along with a little sleety snow.  But got the miles in.

 

Sutter loved it.

It was dark and my headlight needs batteries.  But I got my run in.  Have finally recovered from the half marathon.  Should get in at least 45 miles this week.
